CCC Board of Directors Election Results 2009 康州华社2009年度主席及董事选举结果

Dear CCC Members，
CCC Board would like to announce the results of the 2009 Board Election.
First, congratulations to Edmond Wong, who has been elected as President of CCC and Chairman of the Board. The voting took place at CCSU with majority of the Board members present. Edmond was voted as the new President unanimously by the Board. Ex-President Dong Yuan will assist the transition to Edmond Wong immediately and continue his leadership by serving on the Board.
CCC Board would also like to welcome four newly elected Board Directors as follows, in alphabetical order: Chen Li, Hailing Wu, Yi Zheng, and Nancy Yu
The following previously served Board Members are retiring this year: Ning Lin, Xuemei Xu; Xiaomei Yu and Jay Zhang. On behalf of all members, CCC Board wants to graciously thank these individuals for their hard work and contribution to CCC and the community over the years, and look forward to their continuous involvement in future CCC and community based activities.
CCC Board is also appreciative of all members who cast ballots during the Chinese New Year celebration and looking forward to serving everyone in 2009.

康州华社2009年度主席及董事选举结果揭晓：
2009年度董事选举及主席换届工作圆满揭晓。大多数董事参加了选举，全票通过黃靄斌为华社2009年度主席。前任主席董源将继续担任华社董事会成员。
华社董事会同时宣布新任成员名单，通过华社选举，四位新董事加入华社董事会，他们是：李琛; 吴海玲; 郑毅; 于云红。
华社董事会同时宣布前任董事林宁; 徐雪梅; 于笑梅; 张建华任满退休。华社董事会感谢他们为华社以及华人社区所作的贡献，希望今后继续得到他们对华社的指导及支持。
